So the idea for this one was to take a picture of a power plug "exploding" in the outlet due to too strong current.

Unfortunately, I could either get the explosion right or the smoke right, but never both at the same time. This is a sequence of photos including the shot I used for the challenge:



And this is one of the first tries. A lot of fire, but no smoke:



I'm not quite happy with the final version, but I didn't have any more time and thought I'd submit it anyway.

Thanks for the comments and your concerns. I am told in about a month we should be able to move back into the apartment.

(No, no, no, everything's fine. It all happened very safely inside a cardboard box ;) )
