I've never seen a kiwi this close. Great detail. I agree that the dark form at the left is distracting. What a beak!

Great detail here! As previously mentioned by hajeka the left hand side of the background distracts a bit but otherwise this is a great image. It looks almost alive.

Wow. This looks sharp. Beautiful B&W photo.

The left background is perhaps somewhat disturbing, but I don't think you could take the bird away.
