Don't ask about the wording. I have no clue what I was thinking at the time. I think that if my text wasn't so hard to understand this would have been a top 10.

Oh well shot myself in the foot with this one huh?

Great score and great finish Joe. I do think your text hurt you a bit, but this is a photography contest, not an English one. Oh well. Still something to be proud of.

Can't wait to see what you bring to season two with your new toy!

Congrats on a personal best, Joe! Great job! Without having read any of the comments yet, I am guessing it suffered more from the message than the image itself. Well done though!

The saying wasn't resonating with me, but to be honest I thought for sure I'd be seeing this on the front page. That's an excellent photo.

Very interesting poster. Just looking at it is a joy, it's a beautiful image, and the poster is well designed. I see no problems with it. That said, I find the picture of a chained and locked gate sort of like the opposite of the message - sort of like you're showing how to not achieve success, rather than how to achieve success.

Good concept, well done.

It's an interesting photo. The words don't make sense to me, though. First, keys aren't locked. Second, gates don't usually bar the way to keys. Rather, lacking a key can mean you can't open a gate.

Beautiful job! It almost looks as if I could touch the metal and feel the scratches in it. Nice job on bringing out the texture.

I like the image, the border, and the main idea. Knocked down a point for the explantory wording, which demotivates.

Good photo. Good layout. Photo and phrase go well together. On top of that I don't recall seeing a poster like this already printed so great job all around.

Nice picture, but to me the motivational saying is a little puzzling and not very motivational, unless gates is defined better. Maybe something like "With the right key all barriers to success can be overcome."

very nice image, love the tones and it is well executed BUT I don't understand the message...how can a key to success be locked? Not voting down but just don't understand.

Um, I don't get it. First of all, keys aren't locked. Locks are. Second of all, what gates are you referring to? Man, that's a great shot. Beautiful clarity, beautiful gray tones. Couldn't you have found a quote that makes sense?

I like this very much. The focus, tones and overall idea make for a perfect poster.
