There is a story behind this image that made me so glad that I was there to capture the moment.
The player (Graham Barratt)signed for the club 18 months previously but had been unable to play due to a very serious knee injury which looked at one stage like ending his career. However, with great perseverence from both Graham and the club, he very slowly edged his way back to fitness.
The game pictured above was against one of Scotland`s top sides (Glasgow Rangers)and Graham came on as a substitute midway through the second half and with almost his first touch of the ball, scored a goal which brought Falkirk back into the game (albeit briefly)..the frustration of his two years on the sidelines and the relief at being back and scoring really showed in his celebration. The club had a life size copy made and it now hangs in the players tunnel as an inspiration to others.

The supporters are just as happy as Graham !!
