In the midst of much taller buildings and much newer buildings stands the Union League, the bastian, or is it the bastille, of Republicans of Philly. Only been inside once in college to sing, guess one of the college donors made a request. Outside has just been clean/refurbised. Caught the couple from a moving cab on the way home one night. I'm guessing he was directing her to either where he parked or, more hopefully, to the Sansom Street Oyster House, where, if she could, my sister-in-law, would have oysters for all courses of her meal. Unfortunately, they do not have an oyster dessert. No wonder my brother is so happy! LOL! |
