 I had not been back to the Kater Street Garden since the end of July. Not sure why but it just did not work out until this past Saturday as I was in the area for my voice lesson. Got some new flower shots, a rather cooperative Monarch butterfly, a wasp and some big ass bumble bees. This and another were just flying around from flower to flower and a some moment they hovered over some flowers for long periods of time. That is when I took this. So the wings are still speeding but the bee is not. Enjoy.

Post: Convert from Raw with a +0.33 exposure compensation in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. Lighten shadows, darken highlights, midtone contrast (+5%, +5% and -5%). NeatImage....still lot of noise...I would normally mask the bee but....you know just can't....so some noise esxists. Sharpen. 3 crops. Resize. Sharpen.

I like this. I'd like it more if the bee were facing the camera (the back side is never as captivating to look at as is the front).
