It's very interesting to read posthumous comment that this image gives him a nostalgic feeling, because earlier today, as I was looking at the picture, I was thinking pretty much the same thing: a colourful, clear, fun picture puzzle that I think I either had or saw a long time ago, I think it was one of those where there were cubes with pictures on all sides, and you had to match up the cubes so you got the whole pictures, 6 of them in all. It's curious how the picture has an "old" feel to it of sorts, without looking old at all.
It is beautiful how you got everything so clear in this image, the sky, the grass, the horse. I like the shadow, it's so small compared to the horse. The horse looks so healthy, its coat is so shiny and the colour is just beautiful. |

This photo gave me a nice nostalgic feeling because it reminded me of a game I used to play that had pictures of horses. Dang, I can't quite remember it... I think it was like a puzzle and everybody had to piece together a picture of a different horse.
I find Larus's comment interesting if odd. This would indeed be a good photo for selling this horse. It tells me so much about its beautiful shape and color and grooming. I find it odd that he thinks that selling something isn't artistic since so many of his photos look like ads for jeans or perfume. |

What a wonderful horse, I love the colours and the way the horse stands out from the background, very very nice. 8 |

Nice shot, looks like you shot this from the height of the shoulder, ears forward etc. May have been a stronger image if shot later or earlier in the day so light is so harsh and I think I would have shot from the front or adjust the front legs so you could see 4 legs instead of 3. |

Well this is not a bad picture but still, nothing really interesting about it either, this is just a photo I would expect to see if someone was advertising that horse for sale but there is nothing artistic about it. |
