| Fits the challenge subject perfectly, more empty space than we can see. Lens flare adds to the picture the guide the eye into space. Dome does not appear to be totally sharp. |

| This means a lot to me because of the times I've spent in observatories. It gives me a real feeling of excitement. I understand what you were trying to convey with this photo, although it probably won't have that affect on a wide range of people. Well done though. |

| This would have been staggering at dusk. The lens flare detracts from the photo, but you get lots of credit for the idea, which meets the challenge technically, and also is a nice play on words. 7.5, which gets rounded up to 8 - mjcecil |

The sky is a nice shade and I actually like the blow out from the sun but need more interest in the main object.
