 I know nothing of the life or death of Ryan MacMillan, except that he was a thirty-one year old local firefighter killed in a MVA, on June 12, 2001. I have passed this marker almost daily, since then, one of several memorials that I have witnessed appear and disapppear along Highway 99 over the past twenty years on my daily commute. In Canada, almost unnoticed it seems, we sacrifice over three thousand lives annually to our dependence on the automobile. This photo is an homage to the loss of Ryan and all of those lives.
Photo Data: Post-processing in photoshop I boosted saturation (R&B+30) and took out the Y/G/C/M completely, then fiddled with the br./contrast and sharpness.
