All I have to say that these dogs are fast. I was there for all 15 races and It took me a while to get used to the speed of these canines. I took phoot with a 100-400 mm canon telephoto lense at 400 mm. I selected this one from the bunch because I like how the dog infront is leaping thru the air. These dogs really do fly. As they went to get ready for the races the dogs would look at me and pose. It was a great experience.

Great leap from the leading dog.

A nice attempt. However the shot is blur. Use a faster SS next time.

I guess I could see some people being sensitive to this because of the situation with Michael Vick right now, but whether or not you agree with dog racing, I think this is a great action shot. I love that he's completely in the air, and the focus and color intensity at least of the lead dog is really nice.

Great action. Background could have been more out-of-focus for a better effect

Is this a picture of #5 - a 5-legged dog. I see two paws in front, one on the ground, and two behind. Is there another dog hidden behind him with only 1 paw on the ground? This shot definitely communicates speed. Good job.
