| I don't see any negative space, much less for it to be the "wow of the image." It's too cluttered and out of focus. |

Update: I have changed my working definition of neg space and I am afraid my original comment was incorrect, sorry. I am not sure if your use of neg space enhances your photo though... |

| I think you'd have emphasised your negative space here if you'd moved the place off-centre. The light and colour are good but the resolution of your camera is a problem. Not your fault, though so I'm not marking the shot down for that at all. 7 - floyd |

| Don't take offense, but uh... can you PLEASE explain this? Please justify how this shot qualifies? I sound bad for asking, I know... but the tablecloth is easily identifiable and adds nothing to the plate. Not to me anyhoo. - bamaster (4) |

| sorry, but in my opinion, this barely qualifies for negative space, the checkered table cloth is too bright and actually attracting my attention. in addition, the whole photo seems a little soft overall. i wonder if you intended that, and if yes, why? i would rather see the shot a littler sharper. -- gr8photos. |

| Not sure where the negative space is in this image... if it's the tablecloth background, it is competing quite hard with the plate and food for attention. The focus here also seems to be a bit soft... - jmsetzler |
