The positioning of the diagonals and the bird in the frame are absolutely spot on perfect. The colours are a little bland but that probably adds to the simplicity.

Good use of space. Sharp. Color rich. Exposed perfectly. 9

good focus, the wires really give a nice compositional feel to this. karmat

Love the diagonals and the colors, but somewhat lacking in originality. Still good though. Good luck in the challenge. Grayce aka Gracious

The parallel lines divide this photo wonderfully, and the placement of the bird is great! Very nicely composed. The negative space emphasizes the unobtainable character of the bird, because it is framed high in the upper left, and the background is all sky. 8

Nice & sharp -- very good! One thing I remember learning in college while we were being taught about composition... for whatever artsy fartsy reason, they say you're not supposed to have elements originating out of the corners of shots. In other words, to suit the real art critics, the power line shouldn't come directly out of the corners, it should be off-set a bit. Anyway, that's just for what it's worth :)

it seems as though no matter what the challenge is, there always seems to be a bird on a wire shot taken. thanks for keeping the streak alive. on a serious note, i really like the symetry of the line going from corner to corner.

Good composition.

Excellently met the challenge! I would have like the bird a little bit larger in order to see more detail but the parallel wires are a nice touch. I like the way you cropped. Very, very nice.

Very simple. Just as I understand it has to be.

Definitely a lot of negative space here :) The composition works nicely and the clarity is nice as well... - jmsetzler

Good neg spc, and I like the composition, but for me, I think there is almost too much negative space in relation to the small subject, which in effect, gives the photo less impact. lhall-6

I like the angle of this shot.

Blue blue sky. I like the angle of the wires in this shot. I know this is a negative challenge and I kinda wish there was just something more. Great shot and detail though. 6
