 Taken (of course)in captivity at Sea World San Diego
I paid for an "interaction" with the animals and while feeding this 3300 pound animal I was able to snap off a few shots. There was a lot of snot comming from his nose and I was a wee bit worried that he was gonna exhale at the wrong moment and cover me and the camera. Glad that didn't happen.

I know this isn't the best photo ever but just wanted to share this with ya'll. Did you know that the wiskers around his mouth are like little fingers and can manipulate objects toward his mouth? Well I didn't - I admit I like taking pics in the wild better but Ya don't get many chances like this so...


I have an upclose of a dolphin I was thinking of submitting but it didn't fill the entire frame like this one.

Edit - its a walrus - forgot to mention that in the above section here is the photo of the dolphin i wanted to enter

Its a walrus - I was gonna use this photo which I think is slightly better but I went for then unconventional try. Thanks for the comments - I didn't exactly have time to set this shot up - I am lucky it was in focus for that matter.
