Not much "expert" editing except using B&W mixing (red, orange, and blue filters) to bring out the texture and contrast of the granite.

Shot of Half Dome from Glacier Point at sunset with my Mamiya 645AFD and Valeo 6 (not 22 - that's the only Leaf that was available in the system) Shot as Leaf RAW and exported for editing in Adobe Aperture. No spot editing was used.

I'm using a Mac and hoping the difference in Gamma between Mac and Windows doesn't make the image look too dark.

I welcome all constructive comments as I'm trying to become a better photographer.

Critique Club feedback -

This is a breathtaking scene and well captured. Very good detail throughout the image and dead on exposure.

The image needs more contrast as it is a bit of a wash of middle tones. A light and selective touch, either with masks and curves or selective color tool, could deepen some of the tones here without obliterating much of the finer details.

I see your post challenge comment about the colors appearing much less saturated - this appears to be a black and white image so I'mnot sure what you mean by that.

Nice work!

Unfortunately, this image was exported improperly for the Web and the colors appear much less saturated and has less contrast than the original. I've figured out the problem and now have the photo looking much better on DPC. I was really disappointed that I didn't catch the problem before I uploaded.

Great landscape. Photo could use a little more contrast.

Nice shot - Like the tones - but could do with a little more contrast to make the image pop as it all looks a little too grey and flat.

this is an absolutely fabulous location for photos - you composed it very well but the image seems a little flat as if the light wasn't especially good. increasing the contrast USM at large radius or keeping it in color and doing lightness adjustments before desaturation would likely really help this. 5

I think that this photo needs more of a tonal range
