 A seed pod off a dried thistle.
Shot in a light tent. Levels, sharpen. Maybe a little color...

What a shot! From the thumbnail, I completely believed that it was a fork and a single pop from a sparkler. I continued to think that even when I loaded up the full image. It took me a moment to realize what I was actually looking at! Love the reflections and the sharpness... this is great stuff.

This is great, even after knowing its a seed my mind still tells me 'sparkler'. Nice color and reflection to help add to the effect!
