| thanks to everyone for their comments and critiques. i didn't know what negative space was until the challenge. ;-) this site has opened my eyes to so many aspects of photography. good luck in future challenges. |

I think in this image the positioning of the shoes in the corner of the frame really does add to the impact. The colours are quite soothing and very reminiscent of summer days at the park.

I like the idea, but I would have added a little entropy to the placement of the shoes for the sake of looking natural (even if it really was this way in real life :)
Focus got a bit soft on you. |

| I think I would have liked it better with the shoes on top, as if he had stepped forwards out of them. Then the expanse of grass would make more sense. |

| This is a great picture. I get a real sense of freedom from this. Someone just took their shoes off and decided to go trotting in the beautiful green grass. Great job. |
