 i'm suprisingly really happy with the way this turned out. this is my first entry, so i'm curious to see how it will do(i'm not expecting much, but you never know). this was one of about 150 pictures i took of this cross that i made from nails and staples. i originally wanted to use larger 3-1/2" nails and use the finishing nails to hold them together, but i hadn't taken into account how hard the nails would be to bend. it worked out for the best, though - it would have been way to big otherwise. PP wasn't much more than a lot of levels and brightness/contrast. i played around with the hue a little bit, but in the end decided i liked the original better.

i've been looking for an excuse to join this site for a long time, and this challenge really did it for me - i saw it and had to enter. God bless and thanks for taking the time to read this.

Great idea, the lighting seems kinda harsh and blown out on my visually calibrated monitor. Good luck

Nice concept, I do find that the blown out edges draws the focus away from the cross.
