Hey Sean, I haven't "checked on you" in a while on this thing, and hadn't seen this entry yet. Great shot! I see you're using photoshop more and more... awesome! I added a few local shots to my portfolio recently if you want to check them out. Stay in touch! Chris. PS- this is where? Never heard of it... haha.

The picky may have a problem with a rotation issue, but I don't see it. This is a lovely place. One of the things I like best about DPC is getting to see other parts of the world through other photog's eyes. This is very well seen and captured. Don't know that I can get over that way, but if I do, I'll try to find this place! Oh, and congrats on the top ten and new personal best!!

Well deserved. That lens is a beauty, isn't it. Very flexible both on the crop and full frame body.

Wow! I can't believe I got 4th place! I don't expect it to happen again any time soon; so I'm going to relish it. Even three-legged blind dogs get lucky sometimes! Too bad that I didn't straighten it out well enough. The comments about it being slightly skewed are obviously correct. I was working on it in the middle of the night and was too tired to see straight. Oh well. Thanks for all the nice comments from everyone. Oh, and this is the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. It's an incredibly beautiful piece of architecture. To call the place a masterpiece does not do it justice. So, I just got lucky enough to get to snap a picture of an awesome place.

I love this. Lovely symmetry and the arches take you all the way into the image.
The person gives a sense of proportion and also a sense of isolation.

Ah, if only she (or is it he?) was contemplating, instead of having a walk and looking for something, as it looks to me. Still, a great geometry and a good find.

Nice image. For me, having the person in your photo prevents it from being boring. Looks beautiful there.
