If it makes you feel any better...I totally get what you were going for. Maybe people need to start listening to more music?!?

LOL - Lesley, I had no idea!!! One soul could see your potential and gave you a 10 anyway.

Wow! I look up to you even more seeing where you came from. You have learned a great deal in a very short time. You inspire me to try!

This needs an explaination. I don't get it.

this shot seems really candid and not intentional for garage art.

Okay, I guess I'm dense. I don't see the connection to the challenge. I'll assume I am missing a finer nuance of the meaning of the word "garage."
Photographically speaking, I think the composition could have been simplified and strengthened. My attention goes from the ladies in the front ot the man standing to the smoke in teh background, and out of the frame. If there had been a way to isolate the man standing, I think the picture would have carried much more emotional appeal.
Good luck.

Interesting picture, I'd like to see your concept for meeting the challenge.

An over exposed snap shot. A strong contender for last place.

Are those garages on the upper right?
02/06/2004 05:55:37 AM
And this fits in with the theme because....?
02/06/2004 01:20:50 AM
hanging on to the challenge theme by a very thin thread!

I'm not really sure what you were going for here... how is this garage art... I guess maybe it's a garage band? or a performance from a garage? The sky bothers me, as it's not well exposed, I think maybe using a fill flash might have helped here...

Sorry, not getting the connection to the theme. Perhaps I'm just a bit slow... Nice composition in a way, but then I find myself wondering what is this picture about? Auctioning off motorcycles? Oh! Is that it? They're auctioning off your motorcycle? If that's it, then I don't get why the girls are included in the bottom right. Enough rambling.

Garage art?
02/04/2004 07:59:51 AM
garage band? not on subject
02/04/2004 07:10:59 AM
Sorry, I don't get it.

Certainly you had designed this scene. Oh, this challeange is to make an artwork with garage things. Not garage things here, except vehicles, but you can´t design something with it, do you can?

The Christian Motorcyclists Association is a wonderful organization. I have met them all over the USA in my travels and ride with a few members. Looks sunny and warm there..envy!
