 Hit with two strobes, one from the left, and another just enough to accent the right side of her face.

Hey everyone--

Thanks for all the votes on this image, one of my personal favorites thus far. Unfortunately, I was unable to submit an original for this image, being in Boston for the past week. It is unfortunate that this would have been my first Honorable Mention, but there are plenty more challenges that I will participate in in the near future.

Once again, thank you for the kind comments and votes, and I look forward to entering in more competitions.

Ouch! Sorry for the DQ. It's still a great image! Just note the transfer requirements next time and you'll be fine.

One of the tops in this round. Nicely done! I empathize with her completely as I used to hang out in a cemetery at 2 in the morning. Very peaceful and relaxing (no, not a goth!)

I like this a lot! The composition and exposure are excelent. For me there's one minor glitch though. The image doesn't quite support the title. If the model was looking less directly to the camera it may have given a stronger impression of being lost in thought. Her direct gaze gives the feeling of engagement with the viewer not deep thought.

The railing at the front that's sticking up.... I wish that was further to the left, it kinda distracts from the model. If I ignore the railing this shot is one of my favorites... a 7 or an 8 I think :)
