Title driven shoehorn all the way. I took the kids to the zoo Monday morning to try and get some shots for fill the frame. We walked all over the zoo and about 10 minutes before we were getting ready to leave I checked the time on my camera (I dont have a watch). It said 23:57. How odd was that? And then I saw a 19 in the date line. Oh crap! I then realized that when I got my camera back from the shop and set the date and time I must have set the time as 3:30 instead of 15:30. So I was off by twelve hours which meant everything I shot would be invalid for fill the frame. Fixed the clock, hit one or two locations again before we left to get nothing (animals were sleeping or had radically changed their location). Got home and opened up the images and began looking for the shoehorn - and here it is.

I googled the Harris Hawk (which this truly is) and found on e site that linked it to a tribe of Indians called the Moki. A tenuous link in that the only place I found Moki and Harris Hawk even remotely close to each other was in the actual google detail, but good enough for me. But Indians did find these types of birds sacred. So in it goes probably with a mid 5 score to soon be attached to it.

PP - Bulk in Lightroom using many of the sliders, in PS - several USM, selective color adjustments, levels adjustments, hue/sat adjustments, crop, resize and border.

'Harris Hawk' - I thought he was an Private Eye from the old 'B' Movies ?

I still remember fondly the series of films he did when he was sponsored by the Coffee Giants - classics Westerns like 'Harris Hawk and the Mocha Indians', or his part in the famous War film - 'Von Ryans Expresso' :- )

As for this Bird that's clearly blocking the picture - very nice crisp shot.

OK IMO a bit of a stretch to get to "Sacred" but this is still a superb bird picture. Great sharpness, perfect colours and lovely composition.
