 Used some tool extensions I had in my garage to create a Scorpion's Tail.

It was "designed and then photographed in an interesting composition".

Edits: contrast, "black and white" so the blue tint would fit, border.

Asa composition I think it feels too contrived. Then there is a large hot spot dead center that has no connection to the objects being photographed. The main focus is on the right middle ground which does not carry enough interest.

Great composition. A bit more DOF will improve very much the end of the tail. You can do it closing the apperture, with high f numbers.

Nicely done. Would have liked more depth of field. Maybe a black background or some other color not so similiar to subject.

It's a different take on the challenge. I don't believe the shallow dof here is a positive. Maybe with better lighting? Sorry, but good luck in the challenge and keep shooting.

nice... but I think sepia or anything in that range would suggest scorpion like colors mroe
