 Thanks everybody for the great comments and votes! I never had a thought with this challenge until I was out in my yard and I saw this small dragon fly on a dandelion.

After running in the house to get the camera...one step towards this little guy and he flew away :(. Oh wait..he came back. Another step..flew away again. Oh wait..he came back. After a couple of times doing this I could tell that he was in a pattern and so was I!!

I never thought in a million years I would get this close. The little guy was right between my legs with me looking right down on top of him! I took the pictures about 12in above him.

Crazy sometimes! The little white spot under his head is the dandelion.

Sum things up here. Took me about 30 to 45 mins to get right above him. Working slowly helps at times!

This was my favorite dragonfly shot of the challenge and my top5 list from this challenge. I was hoping to get a dragonfly shot and imagined it being just like this one, perspective wise. The colors are wonderful here. Still yet to take a dragonfly shot this year, it's been a busy summer. Congratulations on making the top10 :)

I thought I've seen the best dragonfly photo in this challenge - until this one! I should give this photo a 9 (just to make sure its higher than the previous one). Good luck.
