I don't know if the processing is the best for this shot but I do like how you captured the beginning of flight with the open wings.

The highlights seem a bit bright but I like the way the shoreline angles from corner to corner and you caught a perfect take off! (Or is it a landing?) I like the overall sharpness of the bird with just the wingtips blurred to show the motion.

Cranes and herons are always so poised looking to me. Their elegance is a joy to watch. I like that there are two in the shot - kind of creates an almost romantic sense. I like the undulating line of the shore too. Bumping up.
