OK, while the technical aspects of the photo don't really appeal to me as exhibiting negative space, the sign itself (related to the challenge) is damned funny! I can't imagine a more negative space to be in than a meeting of the Pessimist Club. I was browsing at work and saw your submission and laughed out loud. As I showed it to others and explained the challenge concept, it took a while for some of them to get it but it was worth it. Great thinking!

Well it certainly conjures up an emotionally negative place but I am not sure the wall with all that beautiful detail in the brick, is negative space on a visual level.

| I think this is an interesting 'alternative' interpretation of the challenge. I would have rather seen a direct interpretation of negative space rather than an implication of negative space... kudos on the idea though :) - jmsetzler |
