So I was inspired by Brad's (Krafty1) funky Macdonald's sign. But since I'm presently fascinated by ping pong, I wasn't sure how much fun it would be to make a distorted circle out of a circle.

Interestingly enough, this came out very much to my liking. The original is a ping pong ball resting on a piece of black velvet. The image is a little blown, and when I used the magic circle trick on it, I got this cool looking landscape inside a sphere.

Well, I like it anyway.
I guess this is more digital art (art used loosely) than photography. But hey, it began with a camera, so I'm claiming it.

Alternate ending to the Princess Bride -
Inigo: "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Chuck Norris: "And now I will kill you."

The circle just keeps drawing you in. It's a secret plot to make us jump inside our computer monitors, isn't it?

oh, yeah. If wittle blond Cary Elwes can take out an ROUS (with a little help from a fire blast), you know Chuck Norris could have handled a dozen of them, no problem. (Chuck Norris blows out the Fire Swamp instead of using a birthday cake.) However. Ahem. Nobody gets to kill Inigo, not even Chuck. Inigo is the MAN.

Interesting picture! :-D I would have had no idea what it was and I still can't figure out at all how it would have looked originally. But it's funny the way it came out like a mountain landscape viewed through a peep-hole.

Oh I'm so lost on how you got this image! But it's very cool, I like the composition and what looks like movement in the "landscape" portion. (and thanks for ruining one of my fav. movies, lol)

That looks pretty neat! At first I thought it was a penny, but now I can definitely see a big mountain in the middle of your ping pong ball.

Hmmmm. I'm not sure I understand the technique, but I like the result. Looks like it's sticking it's tongue out.
