Thanks to all who voted, and thanks to flip... I agree. I'm no Ansel Adams, but a 1?
Ah well... better luck next time maybe. :) |

Yikes ... a one? How on earth can anybody score this with a one? Something is wrong somewhere. Despite the ones, I still think this representation fits the challenge well (and that alone deserves several points), and was executed beautifully. |

A good idea and effective composition, but I would have liked to see either slightly more or slightly less of her face. |

this would have been a much stronger shot had the focus been on. |

Seems a little off focus, but good idea. Maybe just a little too much black |

Great idea! The pose makes for an interesting composition and the interplay of light and shadow is fascinating. Focus/ image quality let it down. |

The rest of the shot is so low-key that my eye seems stuck on the bright spot- the model's arm. Maybe the model did not want to be visible? |

Very nice composition. Would have liked to see a little more DOF, but very nice job over all. |

Overall a bit brighter would have been my preference (via. my monitor). Nice job. |

Nice little touch with the long hair only revealing a part of her face. |

Nice idea. You may have been going fro the grainy/slightly blurred look, but I think it's over the top. A slightly more focussed or sharper image would have been better. The treatment given to the image does not do justice to the presumably beautiful long hair. A second weaker light coming in from the left would have given more body to the hair as well. I like the crop and the concept is sound. |

Think I understand the watereffect but needs to be a litle more lit and also it could be sharper |
