I wish I could say it was a great find, but I planted it on a rainy morning. It was in an area where this could have been found though.

I don't think this will do too well, but we'll see...

Cropped, levels adjusted and sharpened.

I wish I could have this one back. I felt like anything that I shot would be good after my first two submissions and this was my reality check.

Lacks "Wow" factor. Poor focus!

This image would have done better if the shaft of the arrow had been positioned to come from one of the corners.

For example, the shaft of the arrow could come from the upper right corner and the arrowhead itself made to be centered on the lower left intersection point of the ROT horizontal and vertical lines.

Foreground vegetation out of focus takes away from overall composition. I love the extremely interesting background and all the clearly focused detailed elements...peebles, earth, flora. Just get rid of that blurred object in the foreground.

I like the colors. The blade of grass in the bottom right is a bit distracting - but hard to overcome, since you couldn't re-shoot this scene. I like how this shows age, like the rain just uncovered your find. Nice work :-)

Great colors. I might have tried additional depth of field to get mor texture, but this is nice.

I like the stone arrow tip - nice subject. Background is a little muddy and busy - I understand that it is probably supposed to look like a long forgotten artifact, but the background detracts a little from the arrow. The weed in the lower right is out of focus and a little distracting as well. Overall, I like this picture. Good lighting and detail on the arrow.

Neat spear. I wonder why you shot it on such a busy BG? I think this is good but can't get beyond the dirt and grass.
