Very interesting - our water towers are huge and are based on the ground. Plus they look like big upside down bulbs lol. It's great to see a photo like this because it's something I may never have noticed.

Very urban shot. I don't think we have any of these rooftop water towers in California (at last Southern California). They topple in earthquakes, I guess. |

Fresno, California, the nearest 'major' city to me, is such a boring place that one of its old water towers is a major landmark. Just a random note.
I love all of your city shots; this one is interesting because it's not something you'd expect to see above all the urban scenery. Are any of these actually still in use?
Also, it's interesting, looking at the other comments, the difference in monitor calibrations: This is not a silhouette on my machine. |
