 I had thought about entering another butterfly shot, but figured that would only do so so with all the images that will be submitted. I figured I might as well take advantage of the expert editing rules for this free study & try something different.

Started editing this as a regular shot: levels, curves, color balance, brightness/contrast, selective color. I added another image of the same corn field to get the crows in there (used a layer mask to get only the crows). Then I flipped the image vertically & used the polar coordinates filter to make the "world". Cloned out the corners of the sky, the got streaky when I used the filter & then added a few more crows from the other image I had originally gotten the crows from.

Not sure what I'm looking at here but I know what you did. Not the best image to create this effect IMO
