I liked how the blur drifts in and out of this shot, with the narrow DOF. Thought of putting it in the Speed FS but nobody around here likes flowers.

The moody lighting is out of this world. :) I love it.

I love this. The tones and fragility are wonderful.

Absolutely love, Judy! DOF is perfect and the toning is the icing on the cake.

I love the lighting and the Dof used on this shot, I probably would have given it a 7-8 in the FS. Excellent Post processing, My only complaint is the pollen stem (thing in the middle of the flower) is to bright for me.

Count me in the "likes flowers" group. This is delicious. Whatever you did with it after the capture was just the right touch. Love the toning, texture, and light in this image.
The title fits well too.

This is just beautiful! One of the prettiest flower shots I have seen from you. I love that mini spotlight in the center of the flower!

Oh Darn, I was hoping this one would make the free study. It's so beautiful: the royal color tones, the way the blend of sharp texture fades into that gorgeous soft focus. A wow photo for sure!

an excellent flower photograph .. the blur works so well with the gorgeous areas of sharpness contrasting .. that one stamen sticking up, looking like its in that rule of thirds sweet spot, really adds that perfect element ... i love your processing and the purple hue ..:) .. sweet !!
ps .. regarding 'whistling' .. i was going to call it whistling dixie!!! .. makes perfect sense to an aussie!!
