I took a number of different shot for this challenge, thinking that other ones would be better than this one. I sat processing them and yea, some were pretty good, but not what I was really looking for. Then I scrolled to this one and thought, what the heck, it has fairly good composition, shadows, and contrast so let’s try to see how it comes out. I think this one came out wonderful.
This is the Skagit River taken somewhere between Concrete and Darrington Washington. Frequently, there are quite a few eagles in this area, but all day, I didn't see one.
Praying as always this does well...

| Very appealing to the eye. I like the spots of light in the foreground. I think the green tones of the water really pull out the green tones of the mountains. |
