 Taken along an ATV trail in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The fawn ran across the road and the doe stayed on the right hand side. The fawn apparently felt it was hidden because it stood there in the tall grass and watched us as we watched it. Adjusted levels, color balance, re-sized for web.

Wonderful Shot !!!

Composition:

I love the way you framed this image. Positioning of the trees in relation to fawn size is right on. Framing is exactly what I would of done in this instance. Any closer and tree trunks would of distracted from subject. So well done on composition.

Focus:

Focus is alittle bit soft on fawn do to camera lens capturing grass in front of subject but it still works here since a softer image brings out the helplessness of fawn. Great job.

Lighting:

Lighting is alittle harse on trees in highlights, but I stress only alittle. Image still should of scored higher in my opinion.

Overall:

A high scoring image I would of rated you between a 7-8 on this submission. Keep up the good work and you'll make the top placement in the near future. You have a good eye for total image capture and it will eventually pay off.
