Quite an interesting spread on this vote resulting in a completely average average. Also a favorite and no comments.

I really like this shot and am satisfied with the reaction.

I would have liked to get the girl on the lower right power point, but I would have had to crop off the ominous wave, which I think is important to the feel of isolation and a little danger. To me this scene is nostalgics, restful, and anxiety inducing at the same time. Hope you enjoy it.

I don't know how you manage to get zero comments. I always manage to get a few, even if they are negative. Pretty nice beach scene. Lots of little actions going on but a bit of empty space too. Beaches are always difficult in my opinion. Still I love the elements in the shot.

First, congrats on the ribbon! Those aren't as easy to get as most folks think. :-) Next, I have no idea why this scored where it did. The title is just a bit misleading - she's alone on the beach but she's being watched over by the kite aloft. At least that's how I see it. It's well composed, and well balanced to me despite the horizon not being on the blessed rule of thirds line. To crop it so would cramp the kite.

Nice shot Julianne. I see you're back in Florida. Make sure you stop by again next time you're on your way up.
