the idea was to show two of the most seen things in a city: people and filth. i took some other shots with macro setting, focusing on the filth, but the people's legs were blurry, therefore, they didn't look as important. i wanted to have a balance between the two things, so i thought this one was better.

Not a photo for the masses on DPC for this particular challenge. Grand vistas were probably more called for regarding a 'landscape'. You even went against the grain and took this in portrait orientation. :)

All that said, I like this for the message, and the truth in what you've captured. It's really a shame how disgusting, selfish, and thoughtless people can be at times. No trash can? No problem. Somebody else will pick it up.

"Urban Landscape: Of, relating to, or located in a city."

I think you did a nice job with this regarding the theme. It was a top ten pick for me. Best of luck to you in future challenges.

I like this shot, kind of gets down to how most big cities get. I was looking at a photo of another city that was taken from a distance and it was really beautiful, but everything I know about the city up close is old and dirty. Good shot
