 I cut a hole in a piece of cardboard, placed a clear glass dish filled with a little water on top of the hole along with the marble. I used a flashlight for lighting, moving it in circles from beneath the plate. The only editing was removing a couple of small dust spots from the photo.

I thought in advanced editing you wern't allowed to remove dust spots as use a using the clone tool? - Just for future referance.
