I love the colors in this photo, and the lighting on the sides and bottom of the window. Feels very vintage and European. |

Nice shot. The black window edge really sets a great tone for the shot. Good negative space! 8 - chrisab. |

Excellent pic. Only the window and beyond seem to exist. |

This really has the feel of a handpainted old black and white. The detail of the bricks in the window is what makes the framing work so well for me. The clouds and sky feel like a painting. 8, Kavey |

I could have sworn I commented this one. Great shot. I really love everything, except maybe the sky. The coloration used here (IMO) doesn't quite work for sky. Don't worry, I loved the rest so much, you're still getting an 9. Swash |

Excellent idea. I would have liked it better in natural colors but I like most things that way. I like it a lot though. Nice job. |

I really like this image. Good composition, the proper use of lighting I think created a dramatic effect on the subject. This looks like a classical painting. - labrynthe |

What an ancient look to this! Very nice indeed. There appears to be some over saturation in the sky that doesn't look natural. Good luck in the challenge...it's a tough one! Grayce aka Gracious |

That's not a window, it's a hole!! It's a nice photo, not sure what happened with the white bits in the cloud though (half way up the sky, coming from left to right), I guess that was a result of the post processing. |

Rapunzal's view......... this is how i imagine the landscape of a fable....... this is soooooooo beautiful......... Harry Potter lives here. The simple concept of the window frame serves the challenge well in this magical illustration |
