 Had ANOTHER runaround kind of day -- ended up having to take my husband's back brace to him at work (40 minutes from home), so we passed the afternoon down there so we could drive home with him. Walking along the Merced River (and getting one bejeeber of a sunburn on my shoulders), I saw this crow on a snag and he stayed helpfully to pose.

Awesome negative space shot! The blue of the sky is beautiful, and I really like the outline of the crow & perch.

This could be a "negative space" entry. Excellent composition. Your mention of the Merced reminds me of my summer working at Yosemite (1988).

Totally cool composition. The dead wood is very interesting and the crow on top is wonderful. Hope you can sleep tonight with the sunburn.
