 In honor of Redjulep's Phoenix photo from North Mountain looking south, I give you Phoenix from South Mountain looking North.

Sorry this is not new. I had the day from Hell today. On the way to work my "Check Engine" light came on. I get to work at 5:00 am and the phone is ringing, its the executive Chef. He informs me that we are into day 2 of a week long state health inspection.

5 minutes after I hang up the phone, we get a major water leak in the kitchen ceiling. Chef arrives and we get all the dishes and pans and racks out from under the leak and call for a plumber.

Around 9 am, we lose all gas to the kitchen. Seems the construction guys damaged the gas lines. No steam kettle, no ovens, no flat top...........

We set up the BBQ grills outside and 5 individual propane burners inside. With the state inspectors looking on, we somehow manage to make lunch for 200 people.

I am too depressed to say more. I think its time for a nap.

Sorry your day was so rough. I love how this shot is the opposite direction of Redjulep, this is a terrific shot of your city, I've been to Phoenix a couple of times but never seen this side of it!

Yikes, does sound like a pretty crummy day! I sure hope things have improved :-)

Barbara, I hope you're feeling better today and that your situation has improved. Funny, I had a bad day yesterday, too (tornado in NYC!) -- I wasn't personally affected except for humidity, air pressure blues, traffic snarls, etc... still, I entered an old photo, too. :-/

Cool photo -- would this be a landscape or a cityscape? ;-)

Oh.... MY....GOSH!!! That is a day from hell. And to think you still have a couple days left of the inspection. Well, I like this image, the sky is beautiful.
