 This blur thing is really growing on me. I've been taking pictures at our Culinar School for over a year now but I never thought to slow the shutter speed down to show the motion of them stirring, slicing, and doing their thing.

This is a master chef teaching one of the students how to get a better effect in something he's cooking. It is fascinating -- not to mention DELICIOUS -- to watch them and see the finished creations that they come up with.

This is so functional and good. I love seeing the motion of them working together. The grain is a bit distrating for me. I have learned to love grain a lot, but this picture I want to be as smooth as their movements.

This is great that you are enjoyng working with motion blur in some of your work shots. I hope that the subjects are liking it as much as we commenters are. It does seem strange after so long striving to shoot razor sharp images to look for ways to make blur and softness a part of the compositions of images as we shoot them.

I like the "action blur" of the 2 of them concentrated over the dish being plated...very different image.

Grainy image too-intended?
