It's the textures here that grab me, pulling me from the front to the back, soft and flowing, from more clear and certain to softer and less so. That the progression of light cuts through the center and misses the stone by just a bit adds something special here for me, and for me the stone almost doesn't matter; it's there, but I don't really see it (if you want me to see it more, bring it down a tad and in a tad -- I'm probably looking for rule of thirds here without realizing it; as is, placement deemphasizes the stone in a good way). |

All right, I guess I'll have to third it - "zen". :) Great detail in the layer of water, like we're high above looking down on land masses. |

I love the minimalist look to this -- complete with interesting texture and the imagination of the subject and what it is. It makes such an appealing abstract! I like it!

pebble almost look sike it's floating above the fray..I like the detail in the foreground, like sleet more than rain
makes me crave a hot stone massage~and I could sure use one too!

Zen-like and beautiful. The pebble is almost floating above the surface. The shapes created by its highlights make it feel soft and insubstantial. |
