 For those who hate bug shots, sorry! But keep in mind that although he looks big and hairy and scary, he's only about 1 cm long.

Frankly, I don't like bugs a whole heck of a lot, but I sure like seeing them closeup from afar through a macro lens, if you know what I mean :-) This little fellow was on one of our new yellow roses that just started to bud today. The rose is very pretty, but so is spidey in his own special way...

eeeeeeeeew! HE's so creepy! But this is a great macro capture. I Love that you can see every detail of his little face! Love that he's on a yellow rose. :)

Wow... what big eyes you have...and so many. This must be taken with the 105 Macro. My dream lens. Wonderful shot and clarity. This little guy is precious... in a manner of speaking.

Awesome macro! The yellow/blue are so soft compared to the spider, which just highlights it even more.

I LOVE BUGS coz they are especially interesting to photograph, and for no other reason !!! .. this is an excellent shot .. you have captured that spider so well ... he looks quite surprised, if a spider can show that emotion, with those wide round eyes and those little hairs sticking up ... :) ..
