I like the distant similarity to Chinese calligraphy characters. This is the underside of a curved fiberglass shelter over a picnic table in the park, like th ones over bus stops. Mid-morning sun provides the backlighting. It is anchored in concrete so we can't turn in upside down. But we can turn me upside down to take a picture from underneath. It is a safe place to hang out during a sudden rainshower (yes, this is Oregon - sorry the title is such a stretch).
Processing almost straight out of camera: open in ACR, levels, resize for web.
Post Voting: This was my first challenge, and I had not realized that notes in the details box would not be visible. Too late I realized that I should have given a much more obvious title like "Bus Stop" -- less confusing and more obviously upside down. Of course, some people don't like abstracts. Knowing that, I certainly appreciate the 6's, 7's, 8's, and 9's. |

Is this a puzzle?? Ha ha - I betcha they're beating you up on this one, eh? Your entry should get together with my 'Shadow' entry & have a beer after their respective challenges.
I do have a hard time connecting this to the challenge, but it is so very nice to look at that I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here... << 9 >> |
