For a long time I've wanted to catch a shot of a building where a reflection in a window was good enough that it looked like a hole through the building.

I still haven't managed to get that shot, but just along the street, they have set up an arguably more interesting shot. Those big metal girders are holding the buildings walls up. Thats not a reflection you can see, they took out the entire interior of the building.. internal walls, floors, even the roof. So although it looks like a reflection, it's actually a view up through the building to the crane inside it, and the clear sky behind.

Cropped, desaturated, and the contrast tweaked a little all in Aperture.

Glad you explained that one. Very cool. Just a suggestion, but you might up the contrast in b&w. I like the color version a lot, too.

Totally cool! Works great as a square crop in B&W, but I like the color version a lot too :-)

That is really bizarre! It looks very much like a wavery reflection.
