John...the painting is wonderful! I'm sure the digital does not do it justice. |

OK, I still love watercolors, but oils are definitely cool also! (art snob!!) :) not sure I'd get the hang of these any easier John

Well John, it seems we are doomed to become Hippies, so bring on the Flower Power!! This is what I call real Art, digital photos are the poor relative to paint and canvas.
I love the abstract rendition that first hits you, then the detail begins to merge. A fine piece of Art for which you should be justifiably proud. Well Done, no matter how long ago it was painted, Art doesn't age, it improves :) |

John!
you are talented...this is really great. I love watercolors & tried it last winter- tough medium to even get comfortable with! it's a shame you've travelled away from it, but I can certainly understand the camera as art passion thing!!
I'm bumming though 'cuz Brad sees R&B's and I have mostly Greens on my screen///help! How do I adjust/check color accuracy???

My first impression was that this was 3D. The Blues & Reds pop off the page, in a good way. Nice!
I can't even paint the town red, let alone use a paintbrush. |

Very nice work John! The color is so unexpected but works so well. I think many of us have put aside other mediums in favor of the camera. I started as a photographer, then turned into a printmaker...lithography, intaglio, screen printing, then a fiber artist, still do that...now back to photographer. Guess I've come full circle now. |

Sadly no. I got so involved with work, little time, and then picked up my first digital camera. Miss it sometimes. |
