Congrats on an excellent photo, Gringo. Van is correct, this is a Cape Buffalo, and is probably the most dangerous animal in Africa.
Was this taken in a Natural History Diorama?? |

The skeleton in the background and the catchlight in the eye along with those curvy horns make this an extra special photograph. 8 |

This has a great tone to it. The image is nicely sharp, dof is good, and I like the bones in the background. Composition is great, and the catchlights in the eyes really stand out. The horns have great texture, so does the hair/fur on the face and back. |

Nice shot and the sepia is great. The carcasses in the background take away from the theme, though, since the Ox is about abundance and having enough to eat. |

those bones in the background are fascinating - what is the story here? The ox is well caught too - nice detail, great expression, I like the sepia tone. |

Interesting subject and setup, . I would like to see the ox more made obvious(maybe more light on it, or /and more contrasted?) |

I'm only guessing, but is this fake? Either way, I think the bones in the background really add something to the shot, and the sepia works well too. |

Gorgeous. I love the offbalance look with the overpowering image of the ox in the foreground, and the bones as a subtle background point. |
