 I was sitting on the deck next to a pot of orangey red impatiens and decided to see how fast I could "swoosh" the camera in front of them.

I really like it. Made me think of an abstract painting so I matted it like one.

Yep, you nailed the swoosh! I love abstracts and this one is gorgeous, colour, swooshiness, just spot on.

I think something likes this needs to be seen on a canvas..and I mean literally canvas, have it printed on one and the textures with this art woud be wonderful...my computer screen is too impersonal to let this one breathe properly...

Lovely in its simplicity, you are so right it really is reminiscent of strokes of paint on canvas, and so vibrant! It could be anything, makes me ponder, I like that :-)

Judy - I really like this as well. Placing the frame around the image really does give it a finished look. The colors and shapes are warm and inviting.
