The meaning of the word is kind of sad, but I just love that funny sound. Gork. Similar to gawk. It fits perfectly. :)

| Excellent and abstract. I would try shooting a few at small aperture and stronger flash to see if I could get the eyes to "star". The OOF blur would be difficult though at smaller aperture. Maybe if you use a star filter, or piece of brass screen over the lens it would would get the effect. |

Since the eyes were out of focus it captured the bokeh circles it generated. |
that is utterly amazing!! just by not focusing you get that effect? wow, I have to go think about that one for a bit...thanks for the feedback. |

Now see, I find it very strange to be saying that I like this freaky image better than the other freaky image! ;) I think the eyes on this one do it for me.
Is this why black cats get such a bad rap...hmmm? :D |

| As mentioned, a great Hallowe'en shot, though I'd probably shift the color of the eyes to a more pronounced orangy-red (though it should be noted that those are colors I don't see well!). |
