 I was shopping at Trader Joe's yesterday a and happened to see this swirling mist over the frozen vegetables. It looked intriguing and I asked myself, I wonder if I can capture that.

So out came the camera and I threw myself over the frozen vegetables to get down low and photograph the mist. Needless to say, people were talking behind their hands.

Fussed with the color balance a bit to bring out more greens and blues and make it look EVEN more mysterious - oh yes.

ha! omg the image I have in my head of you doing this is cracking me up. I would have lost my balance...

Excellent excellent capture. The mist looks like one of those atmospheric domes you would see in a sci-fi movie. Pretty cool!

I had to laugh reading your description. I can just imagine being a non-photography oriented person viewing you hunkering down with the frozen veggies :) Classic!

Picture is really cool with the mist, but I what I like is the story! I'm sure people have thought the same thing of me; these days I just don't notice it.

Brilliant capture of the mist, and I think the colour balancing helped as well. I'd love to see a shot of all the other shoppers thinking "what on earth is she doing?"

Alicia, thanks for having me bust out in a little bit of a giggle. First of all, your description of your ambition to capture the mist, secondly, the bystanders. And really, it must be awfully hot if the Trader Joe's can't keep the air on cool enough to decrease any mist from the frozen veggies. Lol! Great capture.

Number one you show your good taste in shopping at Trader Joe's :-)
I like your color tweaking, all the green orange and yellow really screams veggies, and I like the perspective as well. And I definitely see the little layer of mist!
