 this is the other side of my entry for the Land(not sea)challenge "Rock n Tree"...The lighting was killing me and I couldn't get what I wanted with out reflectors that I didn't have with me on my bike!
I did a lot more Post Processing than usual and didn't make it appreciably better. What I hope to capture is that you can not tell the transistion from the rock and the tree ! I consider this a very special place at this time and it may one day be considered a sacred place. I'm going to solicit the help of experts to see if this may be a 'carin' of one type or another. This fabulious tree/rock formation is of similar type to other rock outcrops and native trees yet none taht I have ever seen look to be fashioned by the hand of man/woman.

Lacks interest..it seems like a snap shot to me..The very large shadow takes away from the picture IMO...it is hard to see the "rock"

To me, the tree and the rock are in too much shadow.

Maybe a different angle or different time of daylight would add more interest for me. It's okay, but not real exciting for me.
